Thimphu,
the capital city of Bhutan has an abundance of restaurants, internet cafes,
nightspots and shopping centers, however it still retains its’ cultural
identity and values amidst the signs of modernization. It is located in between
tranquil mountains, which makes it one of the most beautiful and strangest cities in the
world.
The best part of Thimphu is that it is the only capital city
in the world that does not use traffic lights. In its place a few major
crossroads have policemen standing in intricately decorated booths, directing
