Will Bhutan set a new Guinness World Record?

People’s Initiative in Celebrating the Sixtieth Anniversary (PICSA) and Bhutan Eco-Green Initiative Network has organized tree plantation marathon to break the world record held by the Indian state of Assam, who has planted 40,885 saplings in2012.

The team consists of hundred volunteers who have trained for few weeks and they will try to put Bhutan in Guinness Book of World Records by planting 50,000 tree saplings, within an hour, in Kuenselphodrang, Thimphu tomorrow.
